And it is the Weavers'.
The only Weaver I ever really talk about is Ash-may, because she's such funk. Most choose to stay in one plane, under the red sky. Ash-may was sorta cast out, but managed to keep one of her eyes. She still has two, one is grey, and the other golden. However, to be able to do such a thing, she had to make her magic even harder to use.
Weavers, in effect, weave words. They tie cotton threads around their fingers and go around catching people's conversations, which they can then use to form words to create something. So, for example, in one part Ash-may is all locked up, and she needs to get out. She doesn't use one word, she had to use many such as 'key', 'unlock', 'freedome' and the such to create a physical object which can let her out. After that, the letters all die.
Now, in order to keep her eye, Ash-may stiched her lips together. It was more voluntary, because when she speaks, letters she has collected die, even though they're not weaved. In stiching her lips together, she no longer has to worry about that.
Aches try to steal her grey eye alot, as that's the one which allows her to walk under the sun, rather than the red sky.
And there ended my ramble.
And I wish BBCi was faster.

I've just realised that I have no idea how one of my characters is going to shoot people.
I know have to figure out what kinds of guns were used in the steam-era.
I can't do history DX
*flails*

I'm really stuck.
I can't get past point 28;
And in a funky little march they all mooch up through Mr. Pherox.
I think what I'll do is write a little sketch about a boy in the top-side, 'cause then I won't have to worry about liking it and wanting to include it. Goodness knows what the Top-side looks like, it always alternated between glassy-slickness and neo-victorianism, in any case it's very clean. I think there's be a lot of people dressing up from different eras there, to help them blend in? i don't know, it's all very confused.
I never got past point 28, or at least it's unwritten mental equivalent, in the five years this has been stuck in my head.
Fills me with worry it does >.>

I'm looking over some of my points, and thinking "Hmm... That does sound very me.", meaning that if anyone else read over them, even though they're the main plot points, it wouldn't make any sense; yet it's perfectly clear to me, which I suppose is a good thing. I still have quite a few to go, and although I do find myself jotting them down during class, I'm slowly coming up the the cut of point where I have no idea what's going to happen next, so, yes. Inspiration please!
Someone tell me, what happens to Ket & co once they get through the sky?
I'm also toying with the idea of a quasi-prolouge type-thing to happen during the middle, 'cause I'm not too keen about putting it at the beginning, but the more I tihnk about it, the more I think that perhaps I should start on it, 'cause I've got a sort of almost fairy-tale/fable type thing in the middle, so I don't think it would go to well with the two parts together.
But after I get this done I can concentrate more on sorting out my characters, I'm leaving it to last (ahaha!) but I guess that's mostly because they're very very old, and so I know them pretty well anyway.
By old, I mean somewhere along the lines of three or four years >.> this nanowrimo is a last attempt to get something substatial written down, otherwise I don't think anything will actually ever happen to it.
Clio's her bestest buddie, he's quite camp, no-ones really sure about what he does on the ship, and he smokes like a chimney. He's pretty wimp I guess, but is either calming Ket down or her normal target of beatings.
I'm happy with them.
It's everone else who needs fixing...

Apparently, this is going to cover my Nano too, accoriding to Ket (she's like Wires but slightly less violent, only slightly mind >.>) so of course, I now have her nagging at me.
I've planned my nano into 50 points, and I'm going to write at least 1000 words for each one. I'm about half-way through with planning them, and stuff, but already I'm seeing ones that could be tricky to write so much about, and so it's likely that I'm going to end up looking to have 60, so I can get away with writing a little less for some of the other ones.
We also have Cray undergoing a possible name-change, although I'm not sure what to, Mar seems to currently be in the lead, but I don't think he really likes it very much.
I'm sure I could say more, but I'm hungry.
So I'm off.

Today, I've decided I shall ramble about A&E, and the structure of the City, because I haven't for a while and it's fun.
It's set in the UK, because I love this little island, and there's two main cities, on the sites of London and Manchester, the latter being the larger and now the capital, and they're both referred to as 'New-Site'. If diferentiation needs to be made between the two, they're called North- and South-Site. There are starter towns too, and Dead-Sites, which grew and then crumbled into the ground.
But anyway, Klar comes from North-Site, and the city is split into three distinct layers, each beings spit into three more.
Glass layer is the uppermost, and as the name suggests, a lot of things there are made out of glass, which has become rather expensive as time has gone by. It's pretty much the 'ultimate' place to live, where everyone strives to be promoted to. And right at the top is where all the big-shots live, apparently.
In the middle is the Steel layer. It acts more as a mediator between the Glass above it, and the earth below. It's also where most of the core-workers live, they're the people who make sure the city keeps working and jazz. Klar lives there, on the midi floor.
And right at the bottom, is the Earth layer, where all the 'scum' live.
And yeah, each is divided into three sections, upper, midi, and lower.
Sounds same-old same-old, yeah?
The glass layer is full of sheep which follow fasions, not just with clothes, but with beliefs too. A big one is 'Nocebo', who basicaly tells them they can all do what they like. They tend to be the ones who take the drugs, drink more, and generally disregard all care for their fellow humans.
The Earth layer tends to lean towards the 'Old-ways', and they're a lot nicer, have less crime, they get sicker a lot though, less health care and jazz, but yeah...
I like it.

I really shouldn't have, because now it'll just be me ranting about how much I like/ dislike/ tempted burn/ want to feed to passing hobos/ enjoying it. Although there is a great chance that it could end up being all of these at once, and more. And character stabbings, of course, with various degrees of pain being infliced upon the poor, evil, souls.
This was just going to be for one Novel, The Agri and the Engineer, but of course ye olde Wires had to stick her oar in and demand attention too, so it's also going to cover my attempts to kill her off and ditch Refreshed, though I have the feeling that it'll never happen.
I am so weak willed.
Ah well.
